A success story

We have implemented a comprehensive energy saving programme for reusing waste heat and reducing oil, service water and electricity consumption for Greiner Packaing, Ireland. 

The results speak for themselves:

95 % reduction of heating oil. This is achieved by recycling the thermal energy of the air compressors. The recycled energy is used to heat offices, outbuildings and the high storage area.

95 % reduction of electricity consumption of compressor and refrigeration machines. Ausrated by the utilization of natural wind with the help of special dry coolers.

Instead of 5 million liters of water, only 4,000 liters of water per year are needed. Exhausted by the use of a closed cooling circuit and the elimination of cooling towers.

Reduction of CO2 emissions by 90 tons per year.

Approx. € 410.000,- in electricity costs are saved every year.

35 % reduction of the energy consumption of 1kg finished product.
